What This Page Collects
These entries reproduce public DOJ and U.S. Attorney press releases. A release describes what the government says and is not itself a court finding. Unless a conviction, guilty plea or sentence is stated by the linked source, the people named are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court. Read the linked source before relying on anything here. This site may be incomplete or out of date.
Accused Is Not Convicted
A DOJ press release describes what the government says it has charged or proved; it is not itself a court finding. Unless a conviction, guilty plea or sentence is stated by the linked source, the people named are accused only and are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges are often amended, reduced or dropped, and a case can end in acquittal without a new release or docket summary appearing here.
Where These Words Come From
Entries reproduce the issuing office's DOJ release without editing or summarising. Every entry links to the justice.gov source that supplied it. Always read that source before relying on anything here.
How Records Are Handled
Records are imported into a private database. Before inclusion, the workflow checks source provenance, source dates, duplicate identity and district mapping. The current archive may include records awaiting deeper content review. Inclusion means that a linked public record was captured; it does not mean every allegation has been independently verified.
Blanks Are Honest
Where a source was unreachable or unclear, the field is left empty rather than filled with a guess. A blank means we do not know.
