What This Site Is
This is an independent archive of DOJ and U.S. Attorney press releases. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Department of Justice, any United States Attorney's Office, or any court. It is not an official court record or government website.
The Words in Each Entry
Entries reproduce release text published on justice.gov and link to the original. Every entry carries its source and date so you can read the linked record for yourself. The linked source is always the version to consult.
The arrangement of this site — its design, its writing outside the quoted releases, and its organisation — is our own.
Accuracy and Being Named
DOJ releases describe what the government alleges. An allegation is not a conviction. Everyone named is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges are sometimes dismissed, reduced, or brought against the wrong person. No promise is made that every entry here reflects the current state of a case.
If you are named in an entry and something is wrong, out of date, or the charge was dismissed, use the contact page. A person reads every message and entries are corrected or removed.

How You May Use It
Read it, link to it, quote it, and cite it. Entries link to justice.gov. That site is not under our control and we are not responsible for what is on them.
